1. Who we are

Atelier Noir ("we", "our", "us") operates the website ateliernoir.in and sells fragrances through the Atelier Noir online store. Our data controller contact is hello@ateliernoir.in.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, phone number and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Order data: delivery address, order items, payment status and order number.
• Payment data: we do not store card numbers, CVV or full payment details. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store only the Razorpay order ID, payment ID and payment status.
• Communication data: messages you send us via email or the contact form.

3. How we use your data

• To fulfil and dispatch your orders.
• To communicate with you about your orders, including dispatch and delivery notifications.
• To respond to your enquiries and support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax, accounting).

4. Payment security

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only where necessary:

• With logistics and courier partners to deliver your order.
• With Razorpay to process payments.
• With cloud hosting providers (AWS / Cloudflare) who store our data under appropriate data processing agreements.

6. Data retention

We retain account and order data for a minimum of 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us; we will honour this request subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Email hello@ateliernoir.in with any such requests. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This website uses only functional storage (localStorage) to maintain your shopping cart and authentication session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
